    Ms. Lady:

I bought this movie because I thought it would be a great theatrical event, boy was I wrong! Not only was I not enertained I was very disappointed in the message in sends. I mean I liked “Her Man”, but that was only because it made the most sense and had a point. Many of the scenes were dark and barely viewable and the plots made absolutely no sense. I wish the cast, the director and all involved good fortune on future endeavors, but this movie was about one of the worst I have ever seen.

I disagree with Ms. Lady. I liked the film very much; you have to view it much like one would view “Pulp Fiction”; the stories are not consecutive or follow any type of order (except for Tonite–part 1 & 2). The soundtrack is absolutely out cold; I’ve been looking for music like this for a minute. It places me in the same “feel good” spot I found myself in when I first heard the music in the movie. Bottom line-the movie examines incidents and books of thought in today’s male/female black relationships (you could say race has nothing to do with it, but since I’ve only experienced the black side, I can’t speak on any other race), from cheating, to “I-hooked-you-up-now-you-do-me”, to racial differences/opinions. If one views this movie without any expectations, they will be have a better experience. Good job–Two Fingers……

I like the film as well, every one played thier parts to a T, the women were so sexy it felt real like a documentory. At one time or another, in my life i have experienced all of those cenarios it brought out all kinds of memories.
